- כּוּסְבַּר, כּוּסְבָּרָהm., כּוּסְבַּרְתָּא f. ch. sam(כוסבר coriander). Targ. Y. Ex. 16:31; Targ. Y. Num. 11:7 (h. text גד).Y.Dem.I, 21d top כוסבר(ה) כוסברתא kusbar (of the Mish.) is kusbarta. Ib. (derisive play on the word) (read:) כּוּס בְּרָה כּוּס בְּרַתָּהוכ׳ ‘chew the son, chew the daughter, who classed thee among the spices?Ab. Zar.10b (expressing an advice symbolically = כוס ברתא put the daughter to death, v. נְכַס; v. גַּרְגִּילָא).
